He is survived by: his wife Maria Santos Martinez of Weslaco, TX; his children, Rene Martinez (Teresita) of Chapingo Mexico, Horacio Martinez (Ermelinda) of Houston, TX, Javier Martinez (Alma) of Weslaco, TX, Americo Martinez (Elizabeth) of Weslaco, TX, Alicia M. Kandle (De) of Chicago, IL and Irma Gonzalez (Baldemar) of Weslaco, TX; and his siblings, Jose Martinez of Houston, TX, Lucas Martinez of Mission, TX, Pedro Martinez and Concepcion Gonzalez.
