She was predeceased by: her parents, Julio Martinez and Virginia Martinez; her husband Agustin Caballero; her children, Jesus Caballero, Roel Caballero, Agustin Caballero, Jr. and Virginia Garcia; and her siblings, Martin Martinez, Juan Martinez, Ramona Martinez and Felicitas Abeldaño.
She is survived by: her children, Rafael Caballero (Yolanda) of Weslaco, TX, Benita Garcia (Julian), Olga Perez and Irene Jasso (Arturo) of Corpus Christi, TX; and her siblings, Jose Martinez of Weslaco, TX, Faustino Martinez of Weslaco, TX, Gregorio Martinez of Weslaco, TX, Margarita Montalvo of Weslaco, TX. and Irene Alaniz of Weslaco, TX.. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, 68 great-great-grandchildren.
