She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Diaz and Juanita Llanas Diaz; her son Lionel D. Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Mark Thomas of Harlingen Texas, Dominick of Harlingen Texas and Camila Rodriguez of Harlingen Texas; and her siblings, Roque Garces (Celeste), Jose Diaz (Isabel), Joe Diaz Jr. (Nora), Amado Garces and Leonor Muniz (David). She was also cherished by 16 nephews and nieces.
