He is survived by: his wife Ernestina Villarreal; his children, Norma Villarreal of Houston Texas, Jose Martin Villarreal of Weslaco, Gerardo Villarreal of Houston Texas, Alma Villarreal of Laredo Texas and Francisco Javier Villarreal of Weslaco Texas; and his siblings, Flor Villarreal, Francisco Villarreal, Juan Villarreal, Alma Villarreal, Romaldo Villarreal, Eduardo "Lalo" V. Villarreal, Santiaga "Chaga", Rosa Maria Villarreal and Esperanza Villarreal. He is also survived by numerous 7 grandchildren.
