He is survived by: his wife Maria Sylvia Cantu of Weslaco, TX; his children, Martin Roman of Michigan, Manuel Cantu, Jr. of Weslaco, TX, Daniel Cantu of Weslaco, TX, Elda Sosa of Killeen, TX and Candelaria Cantu of Weslaco, TX; and his brother Ruben Cantu of Weslaco, TX.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
