With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lazaro Cardenas Sr. of Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on January 29, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Percopio Cardenas and Anita Cardenas; his wives, Eloisa Calderon Cardenas, Teresa Rodriguez Begley and Ellie; and also, Diana Golestani, Reza Golestani, Lazaro Cardenas Jr., Alicia Cardenas, Juan Cardenas and Thelma Cardenas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Lazaro battled COVID for 6 weeks before succumbing to complications from the virus.
