He is survived by: his wife Lydia "Honey" Martinez Mendoza; his children, Celina M. Medina (David), Ruben Mendoza (Mireya) and Maxine Mendoza-Welch (Robert); his grandchildren, Audrey Medina, Stephen Medina, Honi Mendoza, Ricardo Mendoza, Michael Mendoza, Andrew Mendoza and Marissa Welch; his great grandchild Margarita Vela; and his siblings, Luis (Delia) and Angie Martinez (Eloy).
