She is survived by: her children, Ruben Resendez of Florida, Maria Guadalupe Resendez of North Carolina, Maribel Aguilar of North Carolina, Sonia Garces of Weslaco, TX, Barbarita Resendez of Weslaco, TX, Luz Elena Resendez of Weslaco, TX and Veronica Belmares of Progreso, TX; and her siblings, Cipiriano Alvarado of North Carolina, Florentino Alvarado of Weslaco, TX, Minerva Segundo of Weslaco, TX, Antonia Cerda of North Carolina, Valentina Villarreal of Mercedes, TX, Martha Treviño of Minnesota and Inocencia Torres of Donna, TX.. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren & 37 great-grandchildren.
