She was predeceased by: her parents, Santiago Rodriguez and Esperanza Rodriguez; her husband Rufino Gomez; her sons, Rodolfo Gomez, Ruben Gomez and Rufino Gomez Jr.; her grandson Emiliano Gomez; and her siblings, Pedro Rodriguez and Estela Gilster.
She is survived by: her children, Roberto Gomez (Nellie) of California, Elva Asebedo, Ricardo Gomez of McAllen, Yolanda Holmgren (Michael) of Florida and San Juanita Rodriguez (Lico) of Weslaco; her siblings, Delia Armendarez and Martin Rodriguez; and her sister-in-law Elisa Sanchez. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
