It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Garza of Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Cruz and Eugenia Cruz; her husband Daniel Garza; and her brothers, Narciso Cruz, Margarito Cruz, Ignacio Cruz, Reducindo Cruz and Teofilo Cruz.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Garza, Jr. of Weslaco, TX, Joel E. Garza (Tracy) of Edinburg, TX, Elizabeth Teran, Maria E. Rito (Stacy) of Columbus, OH and Hortencia Sillence (Thomas H. Jr.) of Boerne, TX; and her siblings, Geronimo Cruz of Primera, TX, Olivia Gutierrez of Primera, TX, Amelia Gonzalez of Combes, TX and Aurora Ortiz of Harlingen, TX.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
