He was predeceased by: his parents, Baldomero Salinas and Trinidad Salinas; and his sister Minerva Ramirez. He is survived by: his wife Irma Salinas of Weslaco, TX; his children, Juan Alberto Salinas, Jr. (Sandy) of Weslaco, TX and Jacqueline Salinas Escobar (Robert, Jr.) of Weslaco, TX; his siblings, Erasmo Salinas of Weslaco, TX, Alvaro Salinas of Weslaco, TX, Jose Angel Salinas of Weslaco, TX, Margarita Patlan of Weslaco, TX. and Marta Vargas of Weslaco, TX.; and his grandchildren, Arianna Salinas, Carolina Salinas, Mila Salinas and Alessandra Escobar.
