He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Forrest Fite and Emmogene Thomas Fite; and his sister Sybilene Fite. He is survived by: his wife Tiena Fite; his son James Odis Fite, Jr.; his brother Donnie Fite; his grandchildren, Alexandra Elizabeth Fite, Samantha Jane Fite-Blankenfeld and James Odis Fite III; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh Paige Fite and Jack Emerson Blankenfeld.
