She was predeceased by: her parents, Luciano Garza and Basilia Garza; and her siblings, Ramiro Garza, Arnoldo Garza, Cayetano Garza, Luisa G. Hernandez and Concepcion Garza.
She is survived by: her son Javier G. Garza (Carmen) of Weslaco, TX; her brother Luciano Garza, Jr. of Weslaco, TX; and her grandchildren, Sandy Cervantes, Vanessa Hernandez, Jesus Garza, Crystal Elvira Hortencia Garza and Alexandra J. Garza. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
