She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Chavez and Angelita Chavez; her daughter Sonia Marie Chapa; and her brother Guillermo Chavez. She is survived by: her husband Procopio Chapa, Jr.; and her daughters, Angelica Rodriguez of Weslaco, TX. and Nancy Rhodes of Weslaco, TX.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.
