He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastacio Guajardo and Inocencia Guajardo; and his siblings, Lupe Guajardo, Jose Guajardo, Crispin Guajardo and Maria Bernal.

He is survived by: his wife Jesusa Guajardo of Weslaco, TX; his children, Victoria Murillo, Rose Gonzales (Joe Daniel) of Marble Falls, TX, Hermina Cardosa (Adan) of Weslaco, TX, Libby Victor (Bonifacio) of Texas City, TX, Norma Ortega, Leonel Guajardo (Delia) of San Juan, TX, Lilia "Lily" Ortiz, Gonzalo Guajardo, Jr., Sandy Chrostowski of Denton, TX, Susie Leal (Lupe) of Weslaco, TX, Cruzita Guajardo (Jesse Cruz) of Weslaco, TX and Juan Gavino Guajardo (Dorothy) of Weslaco, TX; and his brothers, Lucas Guajardo (Nicolas Guajardo) and Rio Bravo Tamaulipas Mexico. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren & 27 great-grandchildren.
