He was predeceased by: his former wife Anna Arline Ortiz. He is survived by: his wife Graciela Salinas of Pharr; and his sons, Gabriel Ortiz Jr. (Ana Garcia) of Donna, Alfonso Ortiz of Weslaco and Alberto Ortiz (Ysa) of Pharr. He is also survived by four grandchildren; numerous siblings, nieces and nephews; and a host friends.
