We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 72, Fernando Isauro Medina Perez of Weslaco, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Isauro Medina Vela and Felicitas Perez; and his brother Juan Medina Perez. He is survived by: his wife Velia Yolanda Reyna Palacios; his children, Fernando Medina Reyna (JeriKris Medina), David Medina (Rebeca Soto Gonzalez) and Luz Medina (Onesimo Niño); his siblings, Micaela, Elisa, Amarila, Eduardo, David and Arturo; and his grandchildren, Jezrleella, Pearlana, Fernadito Medina, Kenny and Hannah Niño. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the McCaleb Funeral Home (900 W 4th St, Weslaco, TX 78596). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Park Cemetery (12506 Mile 2 W, Mercedes, TX 78570, USA).
