She is survived by: her husband Mayor of Weslaco; her children, Jose Sanchez, Obed Sanchez, Sylvia Sanchez Garza (Richard) and Enedina Sanchez Olivarez; her son-in-law George Gandara; her grandchildren, Alicia, Ezra Sanchez, Adam, Monica Davis, Rebekah Gandara, Ricky, Joseph, Matthew, Lucas Garza, Daniel, Angelica, Marissa Olivarez, Zabrina, Karina and Marina Sanchez; and her siblings, Lucinda, Santos (Miguel) and Robert Reyna.
