Stone (Karen) of League City; his granddaughter Heather D'Ann Stone Smith (Jordan) of Houston; his great grandchildren, Jade Rose Smith and Violet Raine Smith of Houston; and his stepsons, Mark Smith (Stacie) of Frisco, Jeff K. Smith (Carrie) of Crossett, Byron Smith (Allison) of Greenville, Jason Smith (Melissa) of Morrilton and Dustin Engle (Jessica) of Pearland. He is also survived by his parents worked as educators, his father a professor at Texas A & M and his mother.
