He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline and Leander; his former wife Lois Ann; and his son Steven. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou of Weslaco, TX; and his children, Dennis Vitek (Becky) of Forest City, IA, David Vitek (Cheryl) of Liberty Township, OH, Kathy Bishop (John) of Statesboro, GA, Pat Albertsen of Erlanger, KY, Darla Kromminga (Jeff) of Keystone, IA and Barb Nielsen (Eric) of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
