He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Rios Sr. and Enriqueta Rios (Amador); and his brother Mario Rios. He is survived by: his wife Idalia Peña-Rios; his children, Christopher Lee Peña, Megan Danielle Rios and Daniel Rios III; his sisters, Lucia Rodriguez (Salomeꝉ) and Oralia Mendoza (Frank); his half-sister Velma Martinez Salinas; his stepsisters, Alma Barroso (Daniel) and Nancy Lopez (Martin); and his brother Rogelio Rios (Norma). He is also survived by two other daughters, and one other son.
