Cleofas Martinez Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleofas Martinez Sr. of Weslaco, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Espinoza Martinez; his children, Olivia Molina (Gabriel), Fernando Martinez (Norma), Cleo Martinez (Evey) and Armando Martinez (Anna); his grandchildren, Ellie Fraire (Frank), Eric Martinez (Kim), Jason Martinez (Verna), Emmanuel, Mariana Martinez, Armando Martinez, Jr., Amanda Garcia (Jose) and Arianna Martinez; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, Kaley, Emma, Maegan, Lindsay, Jason, Jr. and Sarah Grace; his brothers, Alfredo Martinez of Weslaco and Jose Martinez of Reedley; and his brother-in-law Jaramillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

For the safety concerns of family and friends, the immediate family has requested private services and asks that on-going prayers for strength, peace, comfort, hope, and healing be offered in lieu of flowers.
