He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Villarreal and Carmen Villarreal; his wife Enedina Villarreal; his son George Villarreal; his granddaughter Melva Rodriguez; and his siblings, Felix Villarreal, Leonel Villarreal, Arjelio Villarreal, Carmen Cantu, Noelia Muñoz, Enedina Treviño and Jovana Villarreal.
He is survived by: his children, Javier Villarreal (Alma) of Weslaco, Janie Sawyer (Tom) of Donna, TX and Nora Pedraza (Rolando) of Boerne, TX; and his sisters, Bertha Saenz of Weslaco, TX and Lupita Villarreal. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren.
