He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Gonzalez and Maria Luisa Gonzalez (Zuniga); his siblings, Jesus "Chuy" Gonzalez, Armando and Carolina Acosta; and his siblings-in-law, Rosie Gonzalez, Abdon Gonzalez, David Acosta and Octaviano Cantu.
He is survived by: his wife Marcelina Santellan; his children, Alejandro "Alex" Gonzalez (Rosana) of Houston, Teodoro "Ted" Gonzalez (Sandra) of Pharr, Noe Gonzalez (Mandy) of Katy, Estella Dossett (Robert Jr.) of Cypress and Yolanda "Yoli" Mejia (Jaime) of Victoria; his daughter-in-law Alejandra Gonzalez (late Jesus "Chuy"); his siblings, Roberto Gonzalez (Margie), Pedro Gonzalez (Yolanda), Ramiro Gonzalez, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Frances Salinas, Mere Munoz and Luz Cantu; his grandchildren, Ariana Lopez (Christian), Jovan Gonzalez Vanessa Gonzalez (Katty), Valerie Gonzalez (Ryan Zweygardt), Esteban "Steven" Gonzalez, Benjamin Gonzalez, Aaron Gonzalez, Sarah Gonzalez, Melissa Dossett, Lauren Dossett, Andrea Mejia, Rick Gonzalez (Cristina), Jesse Gonzalez Sr. (Ashlee), Joseph Gonzalez and Jacob Gonzalez (Jenny); and his great grandchildren, Johnathan, Justin, Amaya, Sarah, Elizabeth, Daniel, Jovan Jr., Joseph, Bella, Dezarae, Dakota, Sonny, Luna, Jack, Rick, Jesse Jr., Anthony, Miranda and Jake.
