She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Leal Jr.; her daughter Maria Yolanda Leal; her sister Margarita Dickens; her mother Aurora Ybarra; and her brother Andres Ybarra Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Juanita Leal Huff, Aurora Zamora of Weslaco, Celia Zavala (Gilbert) of Weslaco, Corina Padilla (Jorge) of Weslaco, Sylvia Torres (Jose Luis) of Mercedes, Jose M. Leal (Graciela) of Mission, Julie Garza of McAllen, Roberto Leal (Julie) of Mercedes, Armando Leal (Linda) of Pasadena and Joey Gonzales of Irving; and her siblings, Maria Campos, Dolores Pena (Ernesto), Janie Bush (Joe), Jesus Ybarra (Antonia) and Jose Luis Ybarra (Carolyn). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and various nieces and nephews.
