He is survived by: his wife Maria "Alba" Perez; his children, Elvis Cavazos (Alyssa), Alba Cantu (Tony) and Sarah Cavazos (Emmanuel Alvarado); his siblings, Isabel "Buck" Cavazos III, Iris Cavazos and Bernice Cavazos (Keith Blanton); his close friend Eddie Anzaldua; his parents-in-law, Romaldo and Alba Perez; and his siblings-in-law, Alfredo Perez (Maria) and Velma Lozano (Abelardo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
