She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Carmona and Maria Vallejo Sanchez; and her sisters, Esperanza S. Martinez and Inocencia Sanchez. She is survived by: her husband Luciano G. Garza, Jr.; her daughters, Maria Luisa, Ana Maria and Anna Linda Garza; her siblings, MayorJoe V. Sánchez, Graciela Sánchez, Judge Sam V. Sánchez (Victoria), Roberto E Sánchez (Bersey) and María Belinda S Blankenship; her grandsons, Hector Daniel Garza, Jesse Robert Garza and Noah Louis Garza McGinnis; her godson Daniel Sánchez Olivarez; her nephews, John Edward Sánchez Blankenship and Jared Evan Sánchez Blankenship; her sons, Luciano Sánchez "Chano" Garza, III (Garza, III) and Hector Sánchez Garza (Norma); and her grandsons, Eric Gerard McGinnis, Jr. and Elijah Luke Garza McGinnis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
