She was predeceased by: her husband Baldomero Hinojosa; her parents, Blas Perez and Ignacia Perez (Trevino); her daughter Sylvia Carlin; her siblings, Dalia Alaniz (Andres), Romanita Cavazos (Juan), Tina De, Hector Perez (Lupita) and Humberto Perez; and her grandchildren, Jessica Gonzalez and Thomas Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalinda Gonzalez, Roel Hinojosa (Elsa), Cynthia Hinojosa Cazares, Thelma Rodriguez and Ricardo "Rick" Hinojosa (Rosa); her son-in-law Carlos Carlin; her siblings, Balde Perez, Julio Perez (Lupita) and Oralia Reyna; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Perez. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, over 35 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McCaleb Funeral Home (900 W 4th St, Weslaco, TX 78596). A rosary will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church (901 Texas Blvd N, Weslaco, TX 78596). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596).
