Mary Sue Sessions Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Sue Sessions of Wells, Texas, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Sue Sessions to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Byrd (Vann) and Elmer Byrd; and her brothers, Robert (Vanita Byrd) and Don Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Joel; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law David Ormsby of Lufkin; her sons, Derrick W. Sessions of Livingston and Michael (Misty Sessions); her grandchildren, Robin (David Sloat), Sara (Ryan Nash), Drew (Kim Ormsby), Chancy (Jared Polasek), Stormy (Chase Hannah), Rider (Grace Sessions), Cullen (Chloe Sessions) and Hannah Sessions (Tucker Sessions); and her siblings-in-law, Glenda Byrd of Wells, Pete and LaDonna Sullivan of Lufkin. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (1354 County Rd 2626, Wells, TX 75976).
