It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Johnson of Wells, Texas, born in Lufkin, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nadine Johnson (Tindall) and Rev. Odis Johnson; his brother Donald Johnson; and his parents-in-law, O. D. and Mildred Glover.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Johnson of Wells; his son Slade; his daughter-in-law Katy Johnson of Wells; his daughter Tiffany; his son-in-law James Blackwood of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Elly, Jake Blackwood of Lufkin, Rallie and Russell Johnson of Wells; his sisters, Ellen Nash of Lufkin and Marilyn Mosley of Nacogdoches; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara, C. W. Williams of Wells, Travis and Nelda Glover of Wells. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
