She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Roy Cardwell; her brothers, Bynum and Garland Hightower; and her grandson Cade Klink. She is survived by: her children, Roy Dean Cardwell of Oilton and Renessa Klink (Mark) of Dodson; her sister Wilma Fae Beanland (Hightower); and her grandchildren, Jessica Murphy (Dillon), Daniel Cardwell (Amanda), Stefanie Casey (Vince), Justin Cardwell, Kadie Cardwell, Brian Cardwell (Billie), Gage Cardwell, Brodie Klink (Madison) and Mikala Klink. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Melvin and Wanda Cardwell Memorial Scholarship Fund at Pilgrim Bank of Wellington, Texas.
