He was predeceased by: his parents, William Levi and Nola Fern Robinson O'Rear. He is survived by: his wife Diane Cook; his children, Reagan O'Rear Mann of Montgomery, TX and Joe Ryan O'Rear of Wellington; his grandchildren, Alex of Montgomery, Grace of Montgomery, Michael Mann of Montgomery, Jorgia of Wellington, Maverick of Wellington and Gia O'Rear of Wellington; and his siblings, Robert O'Rear (Cathy) of Seattle, John O'Rear (Hope) of Wellington, Don O'Rear (Brenda) of Wellington, Richard O'Rear (Christy) of Wellington, Kathy O'Rear Ivy (Larry) of Wellington and Lori O'Rear Campbell (Ed) of Wellington.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the First Christian Church or the Home Delivered Meals program both in Wellington.
