He was predeceased by : his parents, J. W. Tarver and Evelyn Maupin Tarver. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Spillman; his sons, Justin Tarver (Krystle) of Americus, KS and Landon Tarver of Wellington; his grandchildren, Axl of Americus, Mekenzy Lucas of Americus, Castin Tarver of Americus and Taryn Tarver of Fort Worth; and his sisters, Barbara Gray of Mustang, OK and Nell Bawcom (Leamon) of Wellington.

Due to health concerns for Covid19, a graveside service with limited attendance will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Gene Weinette, pastor of the First United Methodist Church and Rev. Harry Stallings, retired Baptist minister officiating.

The family suggests that memorials be made to H.U.G.S. or the Wellington Opportunity Center in care of the funeral home at 1300 East Avenue, Wellington, TX 79095.
