He is survived by: his former spouse Zonell Porter; his children, Jeffrey Dewayne and Gina D'yon; his wife Pat; his son Jeff Barnett (Martha Craig) of Amarillo; his brother Bobby Barnett (Bert) of Waxahachie; his sisters-in-law, Donna, Adelle and Patsy Barnett; his grandchildren, Randy Ellis, Gage Barnett, Adam Watts, Natalie Watts Furrow, Anna Rudy and Dylan Rudy; his nephews, Randy Barnett, Hank Barnett and John Speir Jr.; his grandson Devin Barnett; and his grandson-in-law Alec Furrow.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Wellington Senior Center.
