He was predeceased by: his parents, King Bowen and Iris Mozelle Graham Bowen; his wife Sandra Kay "Sue"; and his brothers, Graham Bowen and Jerry Bowen.

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Cochran (Scott), Dee Dee Needham (Craig) and Benny Ronald Heisler; his grandchildren, Tegan Cox, Nathan, Bri Cochran, Carson, Taylor Hall, Andi Needham, Clarence, Eric, Kacee Needham and Ben Heisler; his siblings, Wanda Kresch, Rick, Keith and Carolyn Bowen; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Bowen and Kathy Bowen. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, numerous other family members and friends.
