He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremy P. Guthrie and Kathryn Phipps Guthrie; his daughter Dana Lynn Guthrie; his siblings, Margaret Jones, Alice Lee and Frank Guthrie; and his son-in-law William Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kidwell of Wellington; his children, Mike Guthrie (Carol) of Salisbury, NC, Terry Guthrie (James Garza) of Fort Worth, Kathy Foster (Mike) of Malakoff, Melissa Guthrie Thomas of Alma, GA, Kay Gonzales (Placido) of Pauls Valley, OK and Robbie Ortiz (Jacob) of Denton; and his brother Jerry Guthrie of Yuma, AZ. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Quail Community Center or Home delivered Meals.
