We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2021, at the age of 91, Bill J. Owens of Wellington, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Truett and Lela Jackson Owens; his wife Rita Joyce Boen; his siblings, George Truett Owens, Jr. (June) and Helen Preston (Earl); and his nephew Bill Morgan Preston.
He is survived by: his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amber of Amarillo, Ryan of Amarillo and Amy Owens of Amarillo; his nieces and nephews, Jean Ann Owens Weiss (Clay) of Amarillo, Suzanne Preston Smith (Doc) of Childress, Randy Langley (Susan) of Wellington and Donna Thaten of Quail; and also Truett Owens (Anita).
