He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kahlich and Lillie Kahlich; and his siblings, Tom Kahlich and Colleen Kahlich Willrodt. He is survived by: his friend Tom Holub (Aeronca Chief); his son Notre Dame; his grandson David; and his wife Elvera Willrodt. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
