He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Mac" McElroy and Lucille McElroy; and his wife Eleta McElroy. He is survived by: his sister Patricia Grasse; his brother-in-law Kevin Grasse; his daughter Kathleen Ingersoll; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Dean, Megan Hamlin, Aiden, Eleanor, Byron and Patrick McElroy.
