She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown (Buck) and Martha Champion Brown; her husband Don E. Thomas; her sons, Don M. Thomas and Timothy Thomas; and her brother Wallace Brown (Buddy).

She is survived by: her son Edward Thomas; her daughter-in-law Susan; her granddaughter Chrysta Thomas (Christopher Burt); and her great grandchildren, Madison and Emma Burt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
