Ruby Kopecky Standefer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Kopecky Standefer (Webster, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband William Standefer (Billy); her daughter Susan Standefer Taylor (Chuck); her grandchildren, Kristi Taylor Cline (Bruce), Brian Standefer (Katie) and William Billy Standefer; and her great grandchildren, Matt Meenan, Taylor Meenan, Parker Standefer, Drake Standefer and Ruby Standefer.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home (111 W. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. She survived several tough periods including the Dust Bowl, the Great Depression, the Texas City explosion, and the pandemic.
