He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Miles Holzapfel; his children, Lisa Brooke Morgan, Monica Lynn Atkinson (Glenn), Angela Dawn Mancini, Julie Diane Hoover (Britt) and Scott William Holzapfel; his sister Carolyn Ruth Leonard (Rex); and his grandchildren, Chandler Dean Atkinson, Natalie Isabella Atkinson, Joshua David Holzapfel, Erikah Dawn Bertolasio, Dylan James Hoover and Landon Scott Hoover.
