He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Serenil and Angelica Serenil; his brothers, Marcel and Ricardo; and his brother-in-law Bobby Martinez.
He is survived by: his siblings, Norma Rhodes, Joe Serenil (Pam) and Mira Martinez; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Guillen (Horacio), Stephanie, Elizabeth Serenil, Wendy Detenbeck (Jason), Chris Edge (Heidi), Bobby Jr. (Alicia) and Ricky Martinez (Gilma). He is also survived by Numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
