He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenton Ogden Bush Jr. and Voncile Havard Bush; his sisters, Linda Stanley and Gloria Jean Scott; and his niece Tracy Lynn Scott.

He is survived by: his wife Pamala Steffens Bush; his siblings, Dianne Bush Flower, Katherine Bush Dyer and Ricky Lane Bush (Socorro Benavides); his stepdaughter Amanda Schmidt (Brandon Schmidt); and his granddaughters, Kynee and Lily Schmidt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces.
