He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Ashley and Minnie Ingram; his siblings, Maureen and LeRoy; his son LeVern Jr.; and his pet Afroditi.
He is survived by: his wife Ellie Ashley; his son Larry Ashley; his nieces and nephews, Almont Pierce, Richard Ashley, Elaine Feickert and Beth Meche; his son Robert Gates (Veronica); his great-niece Tina Berger (Stephanie); and his grandson Jesse Berger (Jennifer).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home (111 W. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598). A prayer was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church (202 N Walnut, Webster, TX 77598).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in LeVern's name to St. John the Theologian Orthodox Church.
