He was predeceased by: his wife Centa; his stepdaughter Margareta; his sisters, Clara Earls, Jannie Cape, Lory Bennett, Rachel Durdick and Margie Pelston; his half-brothers, Tannie Hoover and Ulis Hoover; and his parents, Tannie Parvin Hoover and Zetty Edna Lawhorn Hoover.
He is survived by: his daughters, Veronica Hoover Fowler (John), Mary Hoover Hernandez, Frances Theresa Hoover and Thelma Hoover West (Shane); and his sister Zela Bennett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
