He is survived by: his wife Flora Mae; his children, Darrell, Adam Withers and Carol Whatley; his children-in-law, Russell and Lucy; his grandchildren, Jason Withers, Dustin Whatley, Katelyn Whatley and Mia Withers; and his sister Glennie Ziller of Meridian, Mississippi. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
