He is survived by: his wife Willa New; his sons, Gary (Jeanette) and Ronnie (Emily); his son-in-law Robert Johnson; his grandchildren, Jeff New, Lacee Padron, Jeremy New, Erica Resendez, Kristen Dowdy, Courtney Madden, Jessica Robinson, Bobby Johnson, Jill Watlington, Tiffany Taylor, Jennifer Merritt and Amanda Mejia; and his siblings, Catherine Craig of Star City, Ella Marie of Dalph, Carolyn Winborn of Lexington, Julia Henthorne, Diane Spitza of Needville and Jerry Don New of Richardson, Texas. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
