He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Evans and Linda Evans; his sisters, Margie Vernon and Jean Watson; and his son Mark James Evans.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughter Malinda Evans Aiken (Taylor); his grandchildren, Jennifer Adams Garrett (Jonathan), Jessica Aiken and Avery Aiken; his daughter Marcy Evans Cole (Michael); his grandchildren, Hunter and Aubree; his son Mason Evans (Heather); his granddaughter Macey; his great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Adalida and Aiden Garrett; and his siblings, Kenneth Evans, Bill Evans and Eleanor Evans. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
