It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Huey Pierce Penton (Webster, Texas), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Perdee Leon Penton and Alma Mary Lewis Penton; and his siblings, Loula Mae Meyers, Geraldine Wright, Johnnie Rose Lee, Alice Davis, Barbara Bragg, Dorothy Phillips, Jewel Penton, Vinson Penton and Jimmy Penton.
He is survived by: his wife Tessie Elaine Morris; his daughters, Jennifer Killen (Drew), Kathleen Cannell (Brian) and Sheila Penton; his sister Evon Castaing of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Morgan Hoff (Austin), Melanie Killen, Benjamin Cannell, Meredith Killen and Zachary Cannell; and his close friend Ralph Wilson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
